What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Maintenance Worker position at Suncoast Community Health Centers Inc.?
POSITION TITLE: GROUNDS MAINTENANCE WORKER
FLSA: NON-EXEMPT
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- High School Graduate/GED
- Good communication skills
- Experience with all lawn care/landscaping equipment to include upkeep and basic maintenance of such equipment.
- Minimum of three years of experience in landscaping.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Cut lawns using hand, power, and/or riding mower to include trimming edges around all walkways, flower beds and walls.
- Replace and plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes as needed.
- Maintain irrigation systems as required.
- Perform facility maintenance duties as needed including repairs on all equipment used to maintain the grounds.
- Keep walkway and parking free from debris caused by landscaping.
- Apply fertilizer to grounds as needed.
- Provide backfill for absent/ill maintenance personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
