What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gymnastics Coach position at Suncoast Gymnastics Academy?
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Gymnastics or Tumbling Coach to join our team. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring gymnasts ages 5 and up, teaching them proper techniques and helping them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor gymnasts ages 5 and up.
- Teach proper gymnastics techniques for various apparatus including vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercises.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that meet the needs of each athlete.
- Assess and monitor athlete progress, provide individual feedback and encouragement to help them progress and improve.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes in the program.
- Collaborate with other coaches to plan and execute special events, such as competitions and performances.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and other program-related data.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to provide updates and information about the program.
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities are safe, clean, and in good condition.
- Attend regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
