Superior Ford in Plymouth, MN is seeking am Automotive Service Advisor

Superior Ford is looking for highly motivated service advisor to join our team. Ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, great problem solver and highly capable in retail sales. Also requires the ability to multitask, with an eye for detail in a fast paced environment. Need to be efficient using a computer/tablet. Advanced automotive knowledge is expected for this position. Previous automotive dealer service advisor experience will be required.

Automotive Service Advisor responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a timely manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Schedule appointments
• Write up repair orders as requested by the customer, accurately and efficiently. Using proper write up techniques.
• Recommend additional maintenance and service needs, based on vehicle mileage and inspection results.
• Monitor the progress of work orders generated. Ensure services are completed correctly, and within promised times.
• Keep customers informed and up to date on price estimates, completion times and repair status.
• Billing repair orders after service is completed ensuring accurate and complete information is on the invoice.
• Submitting fleet and manufacture billing for routine maintenance.
• Oversee all front end aspects of the service department and assist when needed with Quick Lane operation.
• Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations and providing excellent service.
• Understand and adhere to Ford motor company’s warranty and policy in regards to defining warranty coverage and proper warranty submission.

Automotive Service Advisor Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year’s proven experience as an advisor in a dealership autmotive repair shop.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proven track record in retail sales
• Knowledge with CDK computer program a plus.
• Positive hard working attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
