We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a residential community. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional resident experiences. Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support:
•
Collaborate with the Property Manager to oversee daily operations, including leasing, compliance, recertifications, marketing, budgeting, accounts receivable/payable, and vendor management.
•
Serve as the acting manager in the absence of the Property Manager.
•
Ensure timely reporting and maintain clear communication regarding property performance.
•
Resident Relations:
•
Assist with leasing, move-in processes, and property tours for prospective residents.
•
Address resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
•
Facilitate rent collection, manage deposits, and handle financial transactions, including past-due accounts.
•
Compliance & Documentation:
•
Maintain accurate and compliant resident files and documentation.
•
Support the development and implementation of property policies and procedures.
•
Ensure compliance with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program requirements and other regulatory standards.
•
Team Collaboration:
•
Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote operational excellence.
•
Provide guidance and support to property staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
•
Contribute to team development initiatives and participate in staff training.
Qualifications:
•
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in property management or related fields is a plus.
•
Minimum of 2 years of residential property management experience.
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•
Experience with LIHTC programs is preferred.
•
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and independently.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in decision-making.
