Requirements:
- Accounting/Finance/Business Bachelor of Science degree.
- 5 to 10 years accounting experience; government contracting accounting experience greatly preferred
- Prepare and distribute Monthly Project Status Reports
- Be responsible for reporting to Project Managers regarding status of their projects; actuals compared to budgets, ETC’s, project deliverables.
- Work with A/P to ensure costs are timely/correctly recorded in Costpoint
- Set up project budgets in CostPoint
- Procurement
- Work with Project Managers to prepare Purchase Orders
- Save quotes and required procurement documents in appropriate files
- Track POs; lead times, expected arrivals
- Set up credit accounts with vendors as necessary
- Eventually become the expert in federal procurement processes; ensure that Susteon’s processes are in compliance.
- Keep written process documents up to date as needed
- Learn the Billing process for the majority of the Dept of Energy federal awards
- Prepare all documentation required
- Responsible for quarter finance reports for projects (SF-425)
- Export Import Support
- Assist with the process of documentation for importing items that Susteon may need to purchase
- Assist with the process of documentation for exporting items that Susteon may sell.
- Work with Import broker and export shippers to ensure the process is in compliance with US Trade regulations.
- Support the Controller with Audit support
- A/P support
- Maintain 12 week cash flow report
- Cross train to learn the A/P voucher process in Costpoint as backup
- Support the Controller, Project Managers, CFO, COO, CEO as necessary
- Train and learn the Deltek Costpoint system
- Learn the process of forecasting and budgeting to assist Controller with monitoring of indirect rates all through the fiscal year.
- Be prepared to assist with the entity/subsidiary that uses QuickBooks online.
