Shipping Staff

Sweet Bath Co. is looking for Shipping Staff to join our fun, hard working team to help our warehouse operations run more efficiently. Here at Sweet Bath, this role involves preparing shipments by processing orders, pulling products,  packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area for pickup. A shipping associate is detail oriented, efficient and careful to correctly and completely fulfill all orders. We’re looking for someone experienced and versatile who’s eager to learn the behind the scenes of a bath products company. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare online orders by pulling products, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area for pickup. 
• Coordinate with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs
• Maintain excellent service by following organization standards of quality, and national standards of shipping best-practices.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Document any necessary updates to process and aid in inventory management
• Pack and ship items securely and effectively to minimize breakage.
• Fill all customer orders with accuracy and timeliness. Pack sold items properly and ship in a timely manner. 

Required skills and qualifications

• Minimum of 20 hours worked per week M-F 9-2
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times in a dynamic work environment. 
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Work well as part of a team as well as independently
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
• Manage your time well when you have competing priorities
• Experience in, or ability to learn inventory control methods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to continuously stand or walk.
• Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently
• Remain flexible about duties and expectations as Sweet Bath grows and changes

Preferred skills and qualifications

• High school diploma
• Previous warehouse experience, such as knowledge in packaging and shipping standards.
