Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and support throughout their medical journey. You will be responsible for managing patient appointments and providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, some understanding of medical terminology, and experience in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments while managing the calendar for healthcare providers.
• Assist patients with inquiries regarding their care, insurance coverage, and billing issues.
• Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless care.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Provide administrative support including filing and data entry
• Collaborate with other staff members to improve office efficiency and enhance patient experiences.

Experience

• Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare environment.
• Experience providing medical administrative support is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
