What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler 2nd shift position at Switchgear Power Systems?
2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday 4:00pm – 2:30am (plus $1.50 shift differential per hr.)
Job Functions
- Install electrical components per assembly drawings.
- Assemble electrical enclosures.
- Verify components with the bill of materials to ensure accuracy.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
Basic Requirements
- Complete assigned tasks accurately.
- Be flexible with working hours to allow for occasional overtime.
- Problem solve independently and with coworkers.
- Possess a strong safety ethic.
- Attention to detail.
- Comfortable with the use of hand tools.
