Summary : An experienced land surveying and mapping company is looking for a Survey Crew Chief in Davie, FL. The ideal candidate would be someone with prior experience in a Survey Crew Chief role or an experienced I-man looking to grow in their career. The position would primarily be responsible for managing a survey crew on projects throughout Florida. Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage a field survey team in conducting construction, topographic, boundary and other relevant survey projects.
- Coordinate, assign, and monitor fieldwork activities to ensure efficient progress.
- Utilize GPS equipment, leveling instruments, and scanners to collect accurate survey data.
- Set up and operate survey equipment to ensure precise data gathering.
- Conduct map checks and identify closure discrepancies using survey software.
- Locate property boundary markers through tools such as a pin finder, recorded deeds, or subdivision maps.
- Travel throughout Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties to participate in various field and survey projects.Requirements :
- 2 years as a Survey Crew Chief.
- Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
- Must be proficient with electronic survey equipment.
- Previous experience using Topcon instruments.
