This position is currently designated as hybrid (one day per week in our Reston, VA office).
Description:
- Lead solutions design and provide leadership in developing technical volume for Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Information (RFI) for Federal Government contracts.
- Author content for proposals to address the requirements, instructions and evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation documents.
- Lead technical writing and collaborate with other authors to develop technical content.
- Guide other solution architects and technical writers to develop content to support the solution storyboard.
- Put various parts of the technical content together to develop the technical solution.
- Analyze and dissect request for proposal and develop technical approach. Also determine estimated level of effort and staffing, pricing strategy and basis of estimate.
- Lead creation of technical demonstrations, briefings, and oral presentations materials.
- Create strategies for developing win themes and addressing business challenges and opportunities uniquely and distinctly.
- Conceptualize graphics, figures, tables, and other presentation techniques to optimize impact of information provided.
- Interface with writers, illustrators, and subject matter experts in coordinating/preparing assigned sections for color reviews.
- 10 years of experience in developing technical proposals
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Ability to understand requirements from a solicitation and create a win themes
- Experience in working with multiple proposal managers and facilitating meetings with other technical writers to develop proposal content
- Ability to identify win themes in collaboration with the capture manager and convert into technical content
Citizenship or Work Authorization Required: US Citizen
Preferred Education & Experience: 10 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience and/or certifications in lieu of education.
