Job Overview
The Solution Architect will support the implementation of enterprise IT solutions across the Judiciary’s applications and systems. The Solution Architect is responsible for developing and integrating system solutions based on available technologies and trends in the Federal technology market. The solution architect researches advanced technologies and approaches regarding best practices in the field, designs and implements technical solutions, and provides advanced client support, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.

Job Responsibilities
- Analyze current technologies and usage to determine strategies for enhancements and optimization.
- Providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions.
- Work closely with various IT groups to review, evaluate, and validate current and proposed technology solutions.
- Execute proofs-of-concept to validate proposed solutions.
- Advocate for process and technology improvements.
- Perform design, debugging, and performance analysis on solutions.
- Provide detailed specifications and guides for proposed solutions.
- Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and oversee the execution from technical and business process perspectives.
- Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions
- Experience developing solutions using cloud service provider such as AWS,Azure, Oracle and/or Google.
- Experience building cloud infrastructure and integrating with hybrid environment
- Experience with business analysis techniques and processes
- Familiar with project management and agile approaches
- Familiar with Federal security standards and frameworks
- Familiar with software engineering, APIs, and modular architectures
- Maintains a positive outlook and meets challenges
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- 4-year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience
