Position Overview: Synergy Family Services, Inc. is currently seeking qualified candidates for the positions of PRP Rehabilitation Specialist and PRP Administrative Specialist. These roles are integral to our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), which assists individuals with mental health diagnoses in achieving their personal goals, enhancing their independence, and improving their overall quality of life.
Title: PRP Rehabilitation Specialist/PRP Administrative Specialist
Program: Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program
Reports to: PRP Program Director
Hours: 40 hours per week
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
EDUCATION: Licensed mental health professional, (LMSW,LCSW,LGPC,LCPC or CPRP) Rehabilitation Counselor certified by the Commission on Rehabilitation Certification or Bachelor’s prepared certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner certified by the U.S. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend all mandatory Synergy or PRP Program meetings.
- Tracking Spreadsheets: Create and update tracking spreadsheets for PRP clients to align with the Optum system. Ensure accuracy and make timely updates.
- Provide training support to OMHC clinicians in regard to clinical writing required by Optum
- Provide weekly supervision the first month of employment, after that meet every other week. (Rehabilitation Specialists are expected to provide support as needed, which includes assisting with client engagement, assisting with FSW engagement if needed, weekly check-ins outside of supervision, and possibly accompanying DCS on initial outings/home visits or where there is cause for supervisor intervention, role-plays, providing community resources if needed, etc.)
- Support PRP Direct Care Staff in attaining full blended services
- Review & Sign off on documentation completed by Direct Care Staff in
- Complete & submit Monthly Supervision Form for each Direct Care Staff supervised
- Submit Rehabilitation Specialist Report and Monthly Supervisor’s Report each month
- Review & approve invoices.
- Notify Program Director and Executive Team when Documentation is beyond paperwork guidelines and inform of any corrective action plans for outstanding paperwork. Also, if there are any systemic barriers impacting their work.
- Assist in Outreach events
- Submit PRP initial referrals for authorization and concurrent re-authorizations as required
- Review PRP pre-authorizations for quality & correctness
- Review all PRP referrals and re-authorization referrals for discrepancies.
- Train clinicians on referrals/re-auths
- Other Duties as assigned

Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
