DevOps/Platform Engineer (AWS and Kubernetes)
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS and Kubernetes experience to help build, scale, and support cloud infrastructure for production systems. This role is focused on modern containerized platforms, automation, and operational excellence across always-on environments.
Key Focus Areas
- Own and evolve AWS infrastructure supporting production workloads at scale
- Design and operate Kubernetes environments used to run and manage containerized applications
- Build automation that improves reliability, deployment speed, and repeatability
- Strengthen monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to improve uptime and recovery time
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure, including networking, compute, and managed services
- Operate Kubernetes clusters and improve deployment standards, upgrade processes, and platform stability
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to support repeatable and consistent environments
- Improve CI/CD workflows and enforce automated quality checks as part of delivery pipelines
- Implement monitoring and operational tooling to support troubleshooting and production visibility
- Participate in on-call support while helping drive incident response and root cause remediation
- Partner with engineering teams to improve system performance, security posture, and delivery efficiency
- Document best practices and help raise the bar across deployment and operational processes
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience building and supporting AWS infrastructure in production
- Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in real-world environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Solid Linux experience and comfort working directly in production environments
- CI/CD experience using Jenkins or similar tooling
- Experience with container platforms and image workflows, including Docker
- Understanding of security and vulnerability management practices
- Strong troubleshooting skills using monitoring and observability tools
- Clear communication skills and ability to work across engineering and operations groups
Nice to Have
- Experience working in SaaS or managed service environments
- Exposure to incident command practices and structured on-call operations
- Familiarity with system reliability practices and performance tuning
- Experience supporting distributed systems and high availability services
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
