We are currently partnered with a digital consultancy that is looking for a talented Front End Engineer (React Engineer) to support a 3 month contract with the potential to extend or convert into full-time.
This is a fully on-site position in San Francisco, California.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced React Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend applications. This role requires strong expertise in modern React development, state management, and frontend architecture, with exposure to cloud deployment and enterprise-grade UI systems.
Required Qualifications:
- 4–5 years of experience in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6 ), HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience building responsive, accessible UI/UX interfaces
- Hands-on experience with Material-UI, Styled Components, Webpack, Rollup, Storybook, and React Router (including complex parent/child routing)
- Expertise in state management using Redux, Zustand, or Context API, including custom hooks
- Strong understanding of component architecture, reusability, and performance optimization
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library
- Proven experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience deploying frontend applications to Azure Cloud
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
- Understanding of micro frontend architecture, including module federation
- Strong knowledge of security, performance, and accessibility best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of Docker and application configuration
- Experience with caching strategies and frontend optimization techniques
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and SEO
- Experience with DevExtreme DataGrid and BI dashboard development
- Familiarity with ExcelJS for advanced data export functionality
- Experience integrating with shared or enterprise component libraries
