Job Title: Advanced Warehouse Operator
Location: Chesapeake, VA / On-Site
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $26 - $28/hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to support daily operations in our warehouse. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience in inventory management, and a customer-focused approach. The ideal candidate will maintain a clean and safe working environment while performing a variety of warehouse and parts-related tasks under moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform customer parts counter duties, including:
Answering parts-related calls and assisting walk-in customers
Completing and processing paperwork accurately
Handling payments (cash, check, credit card)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and customer parts area
Support customers by addressing their needs promptly and escalating issues when necessary
Assist in sourcing and locating parts, including alternatives when needed
Collaborate with technicians to identify and procure parts efficiently using catalogs, systems, and other resources
Recognize opportunities to upsell products or services when appropriate
Handle shipping, receiving, inventory management, and stock level maintenance
Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, policies, and procedures
Use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Perform other warehouse or parts-related duties as assigned by management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1–2 years of relevant warehouse or parts experience
Strong organization and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Effective verbal and written communication
Proven teamwork and customer service orientation
