Summary of Position Responsibilities

We're hiring for Licensed Behavioral Health Therapists to join our dynamic team. 

Mental Health Therapists provide high-quality professional counseling to people, children, teens, and families in order to improve their mental and emotional health. They may assist with addictions, substance misuse, family, parenting, stress management, and self-esteem. This individual is familiar with other community services and resources and will work with them as needed.

Duties

• Counsel clients individually, with family, and/or in group sessions as determined by the Individual Treatment Plan.
• Guide clients in the development of skills or strategies to address issues.
• Ensure client services are provided with client-centered and family-centered healing approach.
• Modify treatment activities or approaches as needed to comply with changes in clients’ status and follow-up with client to encourage active participation in treatment.
• Regularly assess treatment progress with client, their family, and/or clinical treatment team.
• Perform crisis intervention with clients.
• Complete all supporting documentation needed by billing personnel and/or third- party payers.
• Completion of clinical notes within 24- 48 hrs of session.
• Gather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy.
• Be aware of and follow all HIPPA standards, state regulations 
• Maintain licensure.

Job Qualifications

• 2 or more years experience with providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to a full range of individuals from youth through adulthood or working as a social worker
• Valid license as an LICSW-C , LGSW, LGPC, or LCPC
• Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment with this agency
• Superb organizational skills and ability to guide, direct, or influence people
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with mentally or emotionally disabled persons and their families.

Work Location: Hybrid and In Person

Free training will be offered to Licensed Professional looking to transition to therapy role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
