What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Coordinator position at Takt?

We are looking for a marketing coordinator to help us grow Takt’s brand, drive top-of-funnel, and engage with existing and potential customers through creative social, email, and digital campaigns, as well as maintain and enhance our website and coordinate events. This role is located in our Reston, VA office. You will be expected to be in the office Monday through Thursday. Our team works remotely on Fridays.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Social Media Marketing: Design and execute campaigns on LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms to grow Takt’s presence and brand engagement.
  • Email Campaigns: Create and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive engagement.
  • Website Management: Maintain and update website content, ensuring a seamless user experience and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Event Coordination: Support virtual and in-person event logistics, such as webinars, trade shows, and customer meetups.
  • Content Creation: Assist in developing blogs, newsletters, case studies, and promotional materials.
  • Marketing Analytics: Track and report on campaign performance to optimize strategies and drive results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Product, to align marketing efforts with business goals.



What You Should Have

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Internship or 1 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and marketing tools.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset to evaluate marketing performance.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with tools like HubSpot (preferred), Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Attributes:
  • Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive attitude.
  • Team player who can also work independently.


Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, or related industries.
  • Basic graphic design skills or experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or Figma.
  • Experience coordinating events or webinars.
  • Experience with HubSpot
