Duties:
The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for various financial planning, analysis, budgeting, accounting, and tax administration duties, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Essential duties include analyzing operating results and variances to plan, assisting with the annual budget and mid-term planning processes, preparing segment P&L reports, supporting the finance team with in-depth analysis, and preparing month-end executive-level reports. The role also involves preparing and reviewing month-end journal entries, assisting with the consolidation,reconciling general ledger accounts, and researching new accounting regulations. Additionally, the Sr. Accountant will process quarterly federal and state income tax payments, coordinate with external tax service providers, and may occasionally assist with supervising staff. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong understanding of GAAP, financial analysis skills, proficiency in accounting systems, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of SAP or ERP systems. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent, CPA certification preferred, and a minimum of five years of accounting experience, including two years at a senior level.
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
