Compensation: $170k-$210k bonus (up to $240k all in potential)
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Strategy & Operations:
- Oversee the financial health and operational performance of all retail locations, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement standardized operating procedures across the portfolio to drive consistency and service excellence.
- Manage inventory flow and merchandise planning to align with sales targets and minimize excess stock.
Team Leadership & Culture:
- Build and manage a high-performing, nationwide retail team, including in-store leaders and internal support teams (real estate, construction, operations, inventory).
- Cultivate a culture of performance, collaboration, and local community involvement.
- Partner with Human Resources to recruit, train, and retain top talent.
- Design and roll out internal development programs to promote leadership growth across the organization.
Expansion & Real Estate:
- Identify high-potential retail locations, secure leases, and maintain strong relationships with property stakeholders.
- Define and lead the execution of our retail expansion roadmap in collaboration with finance and senior leadership.
- Manage the design, construction, and fit-out process for new stores to align with brand identity, operational needs, and budget constraints.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Partner with marketing teams to bring brand campaigns to life through in-store activations and customer engagement.
- Align closely with digital and e-commerce teams to implement a seamless omnichannel customer journey
- Coordinate with planning and logistics to support product availability and optimized store inventory levels.
Strategic Planning & Analysis:
- Shape and refine the long-term vision for the retail channel in line with company goals.
- Utilize market intelligence and consumer insights to guide decision-making and competitive positioning.
- Present actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team to influence direction and investment.
Qualifications & Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, or a related discipline; advanced degree (MBA) is a plus.
- At least 10 years in retail leadership roles, including 5 years in an executive or VP-level capacity.
- Extensive experience managing multi-brand store portfolios and overseeing P&L performance.
- In-depth knowledge of retail real estate, site development, lease negotiation, and construction.
- Proven ability to drive collaboration across departments and lead diverse teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to solving complex challenges.
- Experience with omnichannel strategy and unifying physical and digital experiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative and inspirational leadership style.
Work Environment & Schedule:
This is a full-time, in-office leadership role, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional travel may be required, including attendance at special events, store openings, and site visits
