Position: Brake Press Operator
Shift: 2nd, 3:00PM to 12:30AM
Pay: $17.00/hour
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (includes the following, however, other duties may apply)
- Preform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Able to read and understand blue prints/CAD drawings.
- Setup of brake press per drawings.
- Knowledge of brake press functions
- Quality Control of your parts.
- In order to keep a safe plant facility we require your work area to be kept clean and neat.
- In relation to the CNC brake press you will also be required to form parts within tolerance of or - .3 degree on bend length.
- Must have knowledge of different material type and thickness.
- Must be efficient in reading a tape measure and other devices such as calipers and protractor.
Qualifications: To perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must have a general knowledge of:
- Brake Press operations
- Punctual at all times, including after all breaks
- Understanding of angles and measurements is a key part to operating a break press and having quality results.
