Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date variances of actuals to budget, forecast, and prior year, providing concise insights on financial drivers.
- Identify and communicate key revenue, expense, and EBITDA metric variance drivers across multiple business levels and regions.
- Deliver recommendations based on trends, KPIs, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Enhance financial processes and reporting, ensuring data consistency and resolving quality issues across systems.
- Support the development of bottom-up annual budgets for revenue and expenses.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Adaptive Planning tools, driving best practices and adoption.
- Act as finance liaison with accounting and operations to bridge actuals and forecasts.
- Assist executive leadership in preparing quarterly Board of Directors presentations and ad hoc financial analyses.
- Provide financial support to cross-functional teams on business cases, ROI analysis, and new initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts to achieve department objectives.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FP&A or a related analytical environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Workday Adaptive Planning software.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior leaders.
- Leadership experience managing or mentoring teams in high-performing environments.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience in the dental or broader healthcare sector.
- Understanding of business issues and concepts specific to the dental/medical industry.
- Experience supporting multi-location operations.
- Experience in preparing and delivering board presentations.
