Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press Operator for our Hutchins Location. Your Shift: 2nd Shift You Must Have: Follow detailed instructions from job orders carefully and precisely. Set up and adjust the press for job runs according to specifications. Monitor product quality during job runs and take action to correct any issues. Keep an eye on equipment during job runs, report mechanical problems to maintenance as needed. Start up and run jobs according to the production schedule. Perform routine maintenance on equipment. Meet standards for output, waste, and spoilage. Follow safety guidelines and keep your workspace clean and organized for efficient shift changeovers. Complete logs and paperwork accurately Requirements Within This Position: Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand Regularly required to remain in a stationary position Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials Frequently required to move inside the facility Regularly move up to 25 pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry) We Would Also Prefer: Mechanical and technical skills/aptitude. Basic math skills to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization. Ability to operate equipment proficiently based on production and quality standards. Ability to understand verbal and written instructions for work orders. Professional communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
