Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft and analyze legal documentation for both residential and commercial property matters, including agreements, leases, settlement statements, deeds, title work, and associated transaction materials.
- Examine title and lien reports to identify and address any discrepancies or encumbrances.
- Serve as a liaison among financial institutions, title agents, brokers, municipal entities, and clients to ensure smooth progress of real estate transactions.
- Track important deadlines and confirm all paperwork is submitted and recorded in a timely, compliant manner.
- Generate closing summaries and handle the accurate allocation and distribution of transaction funds.
- Evaluate land surveys, zoning assessments, and UCC documentation.
- Prepare and submit entity formation and business registration documents when required.
- Keep both digital and hard copy records well-organized and up-to-date.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least five years of hands-on experience supporting real estate legal matters in a paralegal capacity.
- A bachelor's degree or higher level of education.
- Availability for a full-time, on-site schedule from Monday through Friday.
- Proficiency with common office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Skilled in electronic and physical document filing, including in-person courthouse or municipal submissions.
- Capable of resolving workflow and deadline challenges independently with minimal oversight.
- Prior experience using legal practice management tools such as Clio and NetDocuments.
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
