Teacher Tutors offers customized private one-to-one tutoring to all grades, pre-K through-12 & College level students. We serve students who attend public and private school. The Teacher Tutors team of educators are located throughout New Jersey. Teacher Tutors provides in-person, online, or a combination of the two, which provides you with convenience and flexibility. This at-will relationship allows tutors to set their schedules. Once chosen as a Teacher Tutor, we then do our best to match you with clients, based on your strengths, location, and availability. Seeking: We are currently seeking a part-time High School Math Tutor who specializes in Pre-Calculus and Calculus to assist students in the Livingston area. This role involves working one-on-one with high school students to strengthen conceptual understanding, improve performance, and prepare for exams such as AP Calculus AB/BC. Knowledge and understanding of other subjects or math levels is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Experience – Classroom teaching/tutoring experience
- Content Knowledge - Mastery of Honors and AP Math curriculum
- Motivation – A genuine commitment and desire to share your knowledge
- Energetic, Friendly, Professional yet Personal.
- Commitment – working consistently to reach specific goals.
- Car – Must have reliable transportation, must be willing to tutor in person in Livingston and surrounding towns.
- Stellar Communication Skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; teaching certification preferred, master’s is a plus.
