Teacher Tutors offers customized private one-to-one tutoring to all grades, pre-K through-12 & College level students. We serve students who attend public and private school. The Teacher Tutors team of educators are located throughout New Jersey. Teacher Tutors provides in-person, online, or a combination of the two, which provides you with convenience and flexibility. This at-will relationship allows tutors to set their schedules. Once chosen as a Teacher Tutor, we then do our best to match you with clients, based on your strengths, location, and availability. Seeking: We are currently seeking a part-time High School Science Tutor who specializes in Physics and Chemistry to assist students in the Milburn area. This role involves working one-on-one with high school students to strengthen conceptual understanding, improve performance, and prepare for exams such as Honors, AP Physics, and AP Chemistry. Knowledge and understanding of other subjects and grade levels is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Experience – Classroom teaching/tutoring experience
- Content Knowledge - Mastery of Honors and AP Physics and Chemistry curriculum
- Motivation – A genuine commitment and desire to share your knowledge
- Energetic, Friendly, Professional yet Personal.
- Commitment – working consistently to reach specific goals.
- Car – Must have reliable transportation, must be willing to tutor in person in Milburn and surrounding towns.
- Stellar Communication Skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; teaching certification preferred, master’s is a plus.
