Due to continued growth, Technical Maintenance Inc. is recruiting for an Electronic Technician for our Woodward Niles, IL location. This position requires demonstrated knowledge of theory and troubleshooting skills including AC/DC, temperature, vibration, pressure, torque and general software skills. The ability to work on highly technical production and testing equipment/stands using oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, etc. is required. The ability to work unsupervised and unsurpassed dependability is required. You must be a US Citizen. This position is working first shift Monday through Friday with some overtime.
Job Requirements:
*Electronic troubleshooting or calibration training with a minimum of 7 years’ experience
*Outstanding customer skills and attention to detail
*Experience working under guidance of quality systems as related to FAA/Aviation and DoD
*Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/etc.)
*Ability to be a leader and work unsupervised
*Positive, eager to learn attitude
*US Citizen Valid driver's license
*Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb stairs
*Ability to work in an industrial environment while maintaining safety at all times
Responsibilities
- Perform field service and maintenance on electronic equipment.
- Utilize hand tools to troubleshoot and repair computer hardware.
- Interpret schematics to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Conduct equipment repairs and ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to provide quality service to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and equipment maintenance.
