Position Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Invoicing Specialist to join our accounting team in Greensboro, GA. This role involves preparing invoices, processing payments, maintaining records, and supporting general office tasks. The ideal candidate has invoicing experience, strong communication skills, and is proficient in Peachtree/Sage or QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices using Peachtree/Sage or QuickBooks.
- Request and track Purchase Orders to ensure proper billing.
- Process and record credit card payments.
- Update and maintain customer account information in the database.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized filing systems.
- Handle billing-related phone and email inquiries professionally.
- Work with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality of financial and customer data.
Requirements and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in invoicing and office coordination.
- Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.
- Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage, Peachtree, or QuickBooks.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
