Your Opportunity:
TechSource is hiring a full time Fire Protection Engineer to support the Savannah River Site (SRS). In this role, you will provide design engineering support to the site, including weekly field walk downs of the job site. This is a fully onsite role at the SRS site, located in Aiken, SC.
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide design engineering staff augmentation support to Savannah River Nuclear Solutions site, located in Aiken, SC.
- Provide engineering task analysis, walk-downs, design development and generation of design output documents including
- but not limited to: Location Plans, Connection Diagrams, Conduit / Block Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, Panel Detail Drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, and
- Battery Loading Calculations in accordance with national consensus codes and
- standards.
- Provide technical support to site construction forces, startup & testing, suppliers or subcontract personnel.
- Prepare Data Sheets, Statements of Work, Procurement Specifications, Design Build Specifications, and Purchase Requisitions.
- Engineering services will be provided using SRNS processes/procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRNS.
