Graphic Designer

Tees and More, LLC is currently looking for a Graphic Designer with Screen Print facility experience. We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Graphic Design Artist to manage creative projects, ensuring they fully meet clients’ requirements. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from conceptualization to production, including but not limited to, consulting with internal team members and management to determine the scope of the project, developing sample layouts for approval, presenting samples for customer approval, and preparing the final layout for production
• Review graphics, layouts, and fonts before products are completed
• Finalize designs using image editing software
• Retouch images to improve quality both in print and digital formats
• Suggest and apply image improvements, use of artistic style and fundamental understanding to achieve aesthetically pleasing artwork
• Maintain project workflow timelines in order to meet project completion time for fulfillment deadlines
• Follow up with clients to ensure their requirements are met
• Keep up-to-date with trends in graphic design techniques and software

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Hands-on experience and proficiency with the latest versions of graphic design software and image editing tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite; Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop)
• Skilled in designing and producing high resolution press ready artwork, including image cleaning and retouching
• Ability to fully vector artwork designs and create color separations
• Basic knowledge of HTML and web development systems
• Knowledge of how to use plotter/cutter, used for cutting vinyl
• Manage multiple projects, with a high attention to detail
• An ability to perform work under time constraints to meet customer deadlines
• Additional qualifications in Graphic Design is a plus

Education and Experience:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent
• Graphic Design Specific to Silk Screen Printing: 2 years (Required)
• Color Separation for Screen Print: 2 years (Required)
• Digitizing for Embroidery: 1 year (Required)
• Vinyl Print Production: 1 year (Preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to carry/lift at least 50 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
