Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant

Join the Birdhouse Coffee/CT Valley Brewing team in South Windsor, CT as our Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant. This position will serve as an important member of our marketing team at our growing craft coffee cafe located in South Windsor, CT.

Responsibilities:

• Creates and maintains all graphic design work in collaboration with the marketing team
• Executes visual designs that follow brand guidelines
• Designs a variety of materials and updates existing materials using Adobe Illustrator
• Organizes designs using OneDrive to allow for easy access by sales and marketing teams
• Writes copy and content whenever applicable

Qualifications:

• 2 years of Adobe Illustrator experience
• 2 years of graphic design experience (information, print, digital design)
• 1-2 years of experience with Adobe CC Suite: Photoshop, InDesign
• Team player with a familiarity working with a small team in a fast-moving business
• Familiarity designing using brand guidelines to develop a cohesive look
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent

Additional qualifications (not required):

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or graphic design is a plus.
• 1-2 years experience with social media management
• 1-2 years experience with product photography
• 1-2 years experience with Wordpress or web design
