Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support a high-volume manufacturing assembly environment. This role focuses on process optimization, standard work development, manpower planning, and equipment uptime improvement using lean manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct time and motion studies to develop standardized work processes and standard data
- Estimate manpower requirements and support capacity planning activities
- Analyze equipment uptime and downtime data using Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 7-Step, and 5 Whys methodologies
- Drive improvements to increase machine uptime and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Create, modify, and optimize plant layouts and process flows to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with OEMs to resolve open issues and support PPAP approvals
- Provide engineering support for material flow documentation, manufacturing standards, and procedures
- Develop and maintain standard documentation, work instructions, and revision drawings
- Support manufacturing process planning and standardized production procedures
- Conduct detailed design reviews and support tooling approvals
- Work closely with plant stakeholders to implement shop-floor process and layout improvements
- Provide training and ensure integration of process assessments and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong background in manufacturing engineering and process improvement
- Hands-on experience with process engineering in an assembly or production environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
