Job Title: Reliability Engineer – Rotating Equipment

We are hiring a Reliability Engineer to support asset performance, equipment reliability, and mechanical integrity at an on-site industrial facility in the Bradford, Pennsylvania area.
This role is ideal for a hands-on reliability or mechanical engineer who enjoys working close to the equipment, partnering with maintenance and operations teams, and solving recurring equipment issues in a live production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the reliability lead for rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, and turbines
- Analyze equipment performance data (failure history, vibration, oil analysis) to improve MTBF and uptime
- Lead or support root cause failure investigations and implement long-term corrective actions
- Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Support Management of Change (MOC) and equipment commissioning activities
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to improve asset performance
- Contribute to mechanical integrity programs, reliability KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- 5 years of reliability or rotating equipment experience in an industrial or process environment
- Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, or similar mechanical systems
- Experience with failure analysis, vibration monitoring, or oil analysis
- Familiarity with API, ASME, or ANSI standards
- Comfortable working in an on-site industrial setting
