What are the responsibilities and job description for the It Support Technician position at TEKsystems?
Description:
We are hiring and looking to add to our team of field technicians for a major customer in the Charleston area. They will be brought on for a long-term contractual basis with the opportunity to convert perm as opportunities open up (based on interview). These technicians will work directly with the Lead Field Technicians to support a portfolio of sites (typically 8-10) in a zone. Technicians should be good at following directions, able to work in a group and independently, and have previous hands-on computer experience. You will be troubleshooting laptops, tablets, printers, etc. Tickets are escalated from the help desk team. It is important these technicians need experience repairing/troubleshooting in the field-we want to ensure that every possible troubleshooting effort is made prior to bringing devices back to the main warehouse.
