*Description:*
* Registers patients and inputs data in computer system.
* Able to schedule, with good phone and customer service skills.
* Prepares rooms with appropriate instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment.
* Opens sterile supplies and sets up for procedures.
* Demonstrates sensitivity to patient's comfort and privacy and expresses interest in their progress.
* Ensures accurate maintenance of patient's medical records and that patient records are treated as confidential information.
* Cooperates with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee relations, interdepartmental objectives, and infection control policies.
* Provides health care instruction to patient and family members.
* Documents transactions, phone conversations, observations, and orders in medical record according to policy and procedure of clinic.
* Responsible for following clinic policies and procedures for infection control in handling and disposing of infectious/hazardous waste materials.
