Position Summary
This facility is a medically monitored Detox facility under HFS75. This role works in conjunction with Human Service staff to receive, and provide services to; persons highly intoxicated or incapacitated due to alcohol abuse and require care and monitoring. They also provide detoxification services to individuals that are addicted to opiates.

Essential Functions
- Performs assessment of the patient's condition
- Communicates as needed with On-Call Physicians
- Provides prescribed medications
- Monitors patient vital signs
- Documents patient condition
- Determines whether other medical conditions may require a higher level of care than available at Detox and in such cases refers and arranges for transportation to a local hospital
- Provides shift supervision of Human Service Assistant staff
Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing with Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
- Pass a criminal background check and be free of offenses prohibiting employment under HSF12 at the time of employment, and annually thereafter.
