Job Description

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator to join our team in Southborough, MA.

About the Role

• Assume a leadership role in the overall functioning of the Emergency Department.
• Provide direct patient care and facilitate an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Coordinate unit-based staffing assignments and monitor staffing based on established budget.

1. Apply the nursing process in the management of patients with complex needs.
2. Promote high work standards and quality performance of self and other staff members.

Patient and Family Centered Care:

1. Demonstrate exceptional patient experience by being patient-centered, safe, effective, timely, equitable, and efficient.
2. Solve patient clinical and customer service needs while addressing long-term solutions.

Finance:

1. Monitor and coordinate unit-based staffing assignments to achieve high-quality and cost-effective care.
2. Demonstrate a patient-first and cost-effective approach to patient care.

Human Resources:

1. Accountable for coordinating care on the unit to achieve high-quality and cost-effective care.
2. Hold staff accountable for practicing according to established standards.

Safety and Regulatory:

1. Collaborate with Security to assure safety and security of staff, patients, and others.
2. Participate in environment of care rounding and Tracers.

Leadership/Professional Development:

1. Champion new initiatives and participate in hospital-wide committees/task forces.
2. Support opportunities for professional growth and development of staff.

Requirements:

1. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
2. 3-5 years of Emergency Department Nursing experience.
3. Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred.
