We are looking for an EHSAnalyst. The EHS Analyst will implement, maintain and improve upon established manufacturing and distribution unit safety programs, especially those related to environmental concerns. They will encourage and promote safety on and off the job through the EHS Safety Committee and other promotions. The position will establish safety procedures and work instructions for uniform policy enforcement. Routinely evaluate new equipment and present work stations for safety and for ergonomic fit. Investigate incidents to establish and eliminate root causes. They will develop plans and methods to meet OSHA’s annual training requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate, division and site EHS strategic initiatives which includes:
- Supporting the creation of EHS goals for the site EHS manager, and appropriate activity based goals for the leadership team, operations managers, and front-line supervisors.
- Creating and facilitating EHS engagement needed to accomplish the established goals/objectives for the year.
- Assist in determining appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track performance against the target goals and objectives.
- Works to assign EHS element champions and facilitate their engagement in ownership of the EHS elements.
- Works with leadership team and EHS element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations.
- Drives to promote zero incident EHS culture throughout the site.
- Pursues third party recognition for programs that establish DRiV’s EHS program as world class.
- Uses established EHS data processing tools such as Enablon and ENHESA to manage injury and illness data, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.
- Create training matrices to ensure all training is defined and tracked to completion.
- Work with site leadership team and facilities to ensure that all key EHS operations controls are in place; maintains EHS compliance calendar, and that EHS action items are resolved in a timely manner.
- Support W/C investigations in coordination with site Human Resources.
Required Experience
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Professional certification preferred. (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified hazardous Material Manager or country equivalent where available).
- 2 years’ experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety programs and employee training.
- Comprehension of industry, state, and country EHS requirements.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
