Title: Administrative Associate
POSITION SUMMARY
To provide advanced administrative
support to the Office of the President, as well as to departments reporting directly
to the President.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ JOB DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains and manages the President’s calendar, including
scheduling both internal and external appointments and meetings. Serves as a
liaison between the Office of the President and internal/external
entities. Assists visitors and responds
to all inquiries – in-person, written and telephonic – timely and appropriately. Prepares and maintains accurate records for reports,
contracts, forms and other documents. Oversees office purchasing, including
processing and managing requisitions and purchase orders. Composes routine and
non-routine correspondence independently. Coordinates and arranges conference
registration and travel. Performs a variety of routine clerical tasks. Sorts
and distributes mail. Maintains and orders office supplies and other materials.
Records and distributes meeting minutes and materials. Manages submissions for
awards and special recognitions. Supports special projects and events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or educational equivalent
Two or more years’ experience providing direct
administrative support to management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience balancing multiple priorities and projects
successfully
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree
Prior work experience in higher education
Familiarity with Banner, Dynamic Forms, DocuSign and other
web-based systems
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Effective interpersonal and communication
skills. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely. Strong organization,
planning and time management skills. Ability to work independently, demonstrate
initiative and balance priorities. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks to
meet deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships across the organization and with diverse groups

Rate of Pay: $31,278 - $37,538, depending on experience
