Pay Rate: $12.10 to $17.00
A Laundry Aide is needed at our new nursing facility in Cleveland, TN. Full and Part Time positions available.

Previous housekeeping/ cleaning/ laundry aide experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Individual must be able to work independently and reschedule cleaning activities to meet the needs of residents or nursing staff. Individual must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, families, visitors and co-workers. Must be able to read and understand Standard English and be able to work with standard cleaning chemicals.

- Sort and separate laundry items according to color, fabric type, and care instructions
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines and dryers
- Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper weights and settings are used
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and laundry products to remove stains and odors
- Check and treat items for stains and damages before laundering
- Inspect and fold cleaned laundry items, ensuring they are properly sorted and stored
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and inform the supervisor when additional supplies are needed
- Assist with the delivery of clean laundry to the appropriate areas or individuals
- Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the laundry area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service
