Job Title: Part-Time Daycare Cleaner
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment at our daycare facility. This position is essential in supporting the health and well-being of the children and staff by ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met each day after closing hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize classrooms, bathrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Wipe down surfaces including tables, chairs, shelves, and toys
- Clean glass doors and windows as needed
- Refill soap, paper towels, and other supplies
- Follow cleaning checklists and procedures to meet health and safety regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning experience preferred (especially in childcare, schools, or healthcare settings)
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Must pass background check and meet local childcare safety requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
