What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Analyst position at Tetra Tech?
Tetra Tech AMT is looking for a Journeyman Program Analyst.
Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- The candidate is responsible for supporting Data Governance activities such as community support, policy support, data cataloging, and technical support
- The candidate is responsible for facilitating weekly and monthly community and working groups meetings with various stakeholders
- The candidate is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks related to specific data subject areas
- The candidate is responsible for capturing meeting minutes and following up on actions
- The candidate is responsible for preparing briefing materials
- The candidate is responsible for creating project timelines that includes milestones and identifies risks
- The candidate is responsible for developing standard operating procedures and process documents
- The candidate is responsible for leading and managing specific work streams and projects associated to the data governance framework
- The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and publishing end-user Enterprise user documentation
- The candidate will be responsible for defining, implementing, and capturing metrics
- The candidate will participate in improving current data solutions to meet business functional and non-functional requirements
- The candidate will participate in customer engagements and should be able to deliver high level customer service
- The candidate will collaborate with SME’s to develop knowledge and understanding of products and operations and best practices
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree is required (9 years work experience in a related field may be substituted for the degree requirement)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management; preferably with expertise in data governance, project planning and execution, data life cycle management, risk analysis, mitigation plan development, and change management
- The candidate must have experience in Project Management
- The candidate must have experience in Data Management best practices
- The candidate should be self-motivated and be able to handle tasks with minimal supervision
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong creative and critical thinking skills
- Strong decision making skills
- Research skills
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Certification
- Experience working in a fast pace environment
- Experience working on federal contracts
- Experience with managing multiple projects
- Experience with facilitating meetings and discussion groups
