Behavior Technician Full Time - Behavior Stabilization Team (BeST)
Role Responsibilities
The Behavior Technician (BT) works as part of a treatment team at the Behavior Stabilization Team (BeST), with daily coaching of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and treatment plans. We are looking for someone that is energetic to provide direct one on one and small group training using ABA procedures for children with a diagnosis of autism and/or intellectual disabilities who require skills training or display aggressive behavior. Training consists of skill acquisition for self-help skills, academic skills, social skills, communication skills, and basic attending skills. The BT maintains high levels of energy and a clean and safe environment throughout the day. The BT is dependable and motivated to make a meaningful difference in the lives of diverse individuals between the ages of 3 to 15 years old.

- We provide you with a paid 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training! We also pay for your RBT application fee and exam fee, as well as annual renewal fees!
- Pay increases to $17.00 per hour within the first year that you receive your RBT certification! And additional increases up to $20.00 based on years as an RBT.
- We provide 40 hours per week regardless of client cancellations!
- You earn 21 days of paid time off and paid holidays during the first year of employment!
Salary
- $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree in ABA, psychology, education, or a related field
- Experience as a Behavior Technician in an ABA program
- Experience with individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities including Autism
- Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR. Training is provided to employees once hired
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting (15#- 45#), pushing, stooping, light carrying (15#), repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, sitting, twisting, and running.
- Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.
