Qualifications
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One year of legal research
- Master of Law or Juris Doctorate degree
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Planning and organization skills.
Document Review
- Completing a literature review of European migration law, inside and outside of the European Union
- Reviewing documents related to U.S. immigration law and educational policy
- Empirical research on U.S. subfederal immigration laws and policies
- Researching federal government funding of policing
- Prepares reports on activities
