What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Medical Assistant position at Texas Health Care PLCC?
Duties:
Qualified candidates must be able to perform various duties that may include: pre-certing, answering patient phone calls, assisting with surgery/office procedures, cleaning and stocking rooms, refills, lab work, EHR/EMR charting, and various clinical duties as needed. This position is located in the Fort Worth Hospital District
Job Requirements:
Applicants must have a Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or graduate transcript. Previous EMR/EHR experience with NextGen is a plus. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required. Hours vary, must be able to work overtime as well as come early and stay late as needed.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8 hour days, Friday - 1/2 day 30-36 hour work week.
This position will be a temporary position lasting 6-8 weeks give or take.
