We are a single doctor Cardiology practice looking for an experienced Office/Practice Manager. This is a Full-time in-house position. Offers PTO and paid Holidays. ONLY serious inquiries, please!!!
The Office/Practice Manager will supervise all aspects of administrative and clinical duties. Their primary role is to ensure standards and quality of service are consistently followed. The position will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability, through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. The Office/Practice Manager is the expert on topics such as patient intake process, EMR system, insurance verification, pre-authorization, patient appointment scheduling, and patient throughput.
- 6 days of paid holidays including (July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Labor Day, and Memorial Day)
- 15 days of Paid time off (PTO) -

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage employees and clinic schedule
- Manage and implement improvements with the practice management system and electronic medical records system
- Communicate effectively with management and team members including attending weekly leadership meetings
- Lead daily huddles with team members
- Improve the patient experience with the front desk and scheduling staff
- Handle phone and in-office patient conflicts
- Train all office staff and provide coverage when an employee is out of the office
- Ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed and provide re-education when necessary
- Manage office supply ordering and inventory
- Monitor overtime for office staff and approve paid time off (PTO) as well as timesheets.
- Assist with yearly performance reviews and quarterly check-ins for their direct reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and personnel information
- Adhere to and uphold all regulatory and compliance guidelines as required by federal, state, and local authorities
- Participate in strategy and goal settings with other company leaders
Qualifications:
- College degree/Associate degree/1-2 years of previous management or supervisory experience with a medical office preferred
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills
- Highly motivated and organized
- Ability to manage in a fluid environment
- Superior customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA, CMS, and OSHA rules and regulations
- Punctuality in arriving to work and reliability in attendance
Working Conditions:
- Typically 8 hours per day required, Monday through Friday
- Computer and office equipment used daily
Physical Abilities:
- Capability of working 8 hours per day
- Sitting, standing, minimal lifting
- Excellent communication skills
- Repetitive hand movements (computer work)
