Respiratory Therapist

Position Title: Respiratory Therapist- Ocala, FL

• Salary range for RRT new grads starts at $24.93, and with 10 years’ experience, it can be $30.54. For CRT, it's $22.66 for new grads and $27.76 for those with 10 years’ experience. All pay rates are negotiable.
• Night Shift differential: $4
• There is no weekend differential.
• Sign-on bonus of up to $15k

Description: The hospital system encompasses several medical facilities in the region, including a Level II Trauma Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, orthopedic care, joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac and vascular services, emergency, neurological, and rehabilitation services, among others.

Position Summary:

• The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will perform all respiratory care-related duties.
• They will set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients across all age groups.
• The RRT will be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
• In the absence of the full-time Team Leader, Respiratory Therapists should be self-directed.
• The RRT will maintain all department and hospital records, ensuring accurate information is entered into the hospital computer system for the therapy provided.

Requirements:

• Florida licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligible for state licensure.

Additional Information:

• Night shifts available (rotating weekends)
• 12-hour shifts

• Must be registered, preferably with a Florida license or willing to obtain one
