Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Bilingual Human Resources Generalist with 5 years of experience to join our team in our Norcross, GA office. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and enhancing employee engagement. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various HR tasks while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Administer HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict management and resolution, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems - ADP Workforce Now
- Provide guidance on FMLA regulations and assist employees with leave requests.
- Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance employee understanding and compliance.
- Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plan and leave policies.
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices
- Assist managers to performance manage their employees
- Perform weekly payroll process using ADP Workforce Now
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and HR database.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics as needed.
- Promote and support workplace safety initiatives
Skills
- 5 years of HR experience in a construction, manufacturing or distribution environment
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or practical experience.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of human resources management processes, including recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement strategies..
- Proficient in using HR software systems ADP Workforce Now for recruitment and data management.
- Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidate fit effectively.
- Strong conflict management skills to address employee concerns professionally and effectively.
- Understanding of FMLA regulations and their application within the workplace.
- Knowledge of pay day laws for both Texas and Georgia; experience performing weekly payroll.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
