Job Summary
The Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing materials or products for processing or shipment using an RF scanner in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment. This role is essential to ensuring operational efficiency and timely fulfillment of production or customer orders.
Key Responsibilities

Pick products using an RF scanner according to pick tickets, work orders, or inventory lists

Ensure accurate order fulfillment, including quantity, quality, and item verification

Prepare and stage materials for production lines or outbound shipment

Maintain clean, organized picking zones and follow all safety protocols

Perform repetitive motions and stand/walk continuously during the assigned shift

Communicate clearly with team leads or supervisors regarding stock levels, discrepancies, or workflow issues
- Follow all written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures
Work Environment & Physical Demands

Fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing setting

Frequent lifting, walking, standing, reaching, and scanning

Must wear appropriate PPE (e.g., gloves, safety shoes) as required
- May involve exposure to seasonal temperature variations

Minimum 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment using an RF scanner

Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under time constraints

Good verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal directions

Physically able to lift 30–50 pounds regularly

Ability to stand and walk for 6 to 11.5 hours per shift

Ability to perform repetitive upper body and arm movements

At least six months of experience in a general Manufacturing/Production role
- Excellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime, including weekends, based on business needs
