Schedule: Friday starting at 5pm – Monday ending at 9am

- Ensure that the people being supported are supported in realizing their aspirations and goals, have opportunities to develop meaningful relationships, and develop membership in social groups/communities.
- Ensure all services comply with COMAR, Center for Medicaid Services regulations, Board of Nursing regulations, accreditation standards, Department of Labor and The Arc Baltimore’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper reporting of all incidents to QE, family, advocates, guardians and supervisors as required by the Office of Health Care Quality and The Arc Baltimore during weekends, as needed.
- Provide comprehensive weekend report to weekday coordinators, director and VP of Community & Family Living at the end of each weekend.
- Work in collaboration with peers and co-workers to ensure proper oversight of DSP’s and people supported during the weekend.
- Randomly audit staff progress with using The Arc Baltimore’ database to ensure accurate and timely input of data and information.
- Monitor time keeping of staff for validity and accuracy, in alignment with time keeping policies and The Arc Baltimore time management system.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D required
- 1 year minimum of case management and supervisory experience in the disability field
- Valid driver’s license (not provisional) with 2.5 years of driving experience and a clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. For Internal Applicants: 5 years experience as a Direct Support Professional may be substituted.
- Two years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities that includes direct support, clinical support, program design and/or management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Must demonstrate competency in basic computer skills, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Provide on-call coverage on the weekend for emergencies and staffing communications, beginning Friday at 9am and ending Monday at 9am.
- Must have and use personal vehicle to conduct agency business (mileage reimbursed) including the transportation of the people we support.
- Must be available by use of a personal cell phone.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
