This position is responsible for providing parent education and support services to families for the purposes of reunification, prevention, and family preservation.

- assessing family safety and reporting any concerns regarding the safety of children to supervisor immediately.
- accepting referrals from the referral agency and scheduling families for services.
- coordinating and facilitating meetings for each family accepted; which will include the family, referral source, and other family supports.
- providing services to each referred family and completes appropriate parenting training curriculum.
- collaborating with referral source to develop a plan in meeting program requirements and services provided for each client.
- providing required documentation in accordance with program standards and contract obligations.
- meeting with referral source personnel regularly to provide ongoing reports of the family’s progress.
- facilitating monthly group meetings with community providers and families, as appropriate.
- maintaining appropriate professional boundaries with clients and families.
- asses family’s strengths and needs.
- scheduling and coordinating visits and transportation of clients and families.
- meeting with families to discuss goals, strengths, and opportunities for improvement.
- inputting information into the electronic data bases.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
- Child welfare experience preferred.

Salary : $33,300 - $42,100
